I am from Manhattan, Kansas, and currently a junior at The University of Kansas majoring in Elementary Education. This will be my third year with the Lawrence Track Club and Second as a head coach. I started track when I was in eighth grade, throwing the discus and the shot put. I continued through high school into college where I competed at Johnson County Community College for a season throwing the Hammer, Shot put, Discus, and Javelin. I picked up coaching my sophomore year at Lawrence High School and have been there for three years as well. I currently coach the Javelin at LHS. My expectations for the kids are that they come to practice with a good attitude, work hard, have fun and try to become a better athlete, teammate and person everyday.
